5 Practices to Real Happiness

I have always been telling myself that happiness is a state of mind. I believe that everyone has his or her fountain of happiness but this fountain is not always use and sometimes neglected to be used forever.

In order for one to be fully happy he or she must understand the real meaning of happiness. My intention in writing the following points is not to present a suggestion for you to follow but an idea for you to ponder. Again, life is about choices – you can create your own happiness.

1.      Practice to be happy.

Happiness is not something that can be achieved from receiving something instead happiness can be found even if you do not have anything. The very first thing in the morning that you think if you are a really happy person is to breath with a happy perspective in mind. Can you check the type of happiness making you today?

Real happiness                                          Temporary happiness
Can be achieved for a lifetime                   Can only be achieved for a moment
Can be expressed from within                   Can only be expressed from material being
Is counted on everything you have             Is only counted on something you have.
Is felt without known reason                       Is only felt with known reason

As happy person you know the difference between real happiness and temporary happiness.  Remember happiness is not about something but it is about everything.

2. Practice self-acceptance.

Self-acceptance is self-expression. If you are able to accept yourself, your uniqueness you will never find any unhappy reason in your day. The moment you honor yourself, you will find greater self-esteem and respect that you exist for you own ways and not for the ways of others.

You will not think or follow on how society dictates but how yourself dictate for your life. You own your life as much as you own your happiness. Do not aim to be somebody else, you are born to be yourself – Express it by accepting it!
           
3. Build Relationship.
When you are happy you do not hide but share the whole you. You are never afraid to invest to good relationship. You will keep on touching many lives but giving them the reason to live for another happy days.
                       
4. Enjoy life.
Life is not about your past but it is about you today and your future.  When you understand that life is now, you will grab every single moment of your life to enjoy and celebrate every piece of it.

Learning to celebrate life is learning to maximize it. You optimize what you can do in a day because you know tomorrow has its own thing – you make the most out of today. If you enjoy life you will not stick on regret and resentment instead you think and count on the blessing you are receiving and continuously claim, appreciate and share them.

5. Appreciate life

Gratitude can lead to happiness. You do not mind how the circumstances are happening if you have a grateful heart but you mind on how you remain happy over those circumstances.

As saying goes, “Circumstances shape you.” Appreciate it by counting it as a blessing for you to be better and happier every single day in you life.
  
Start today because life is now. Since you know that happiness is a state of mind DECLARE it! You are happy with real happiness in life.
